Workshops at Google

I've been fortunate to learn and grow through the guidance of others throughout my career. Now, I pay it forward by sharing my experiences and insights with trainees and interns at Google, through talks like "Other Ways Exist" and a personal branding workshop called "Showcase the True You," organised with the Women@Google Singapore team.

“Showcase the True You”

As part of Google's Women@SG career-readiness program, I led a workshop on personal brand planning and finding creative ways to express yourself to do the work you want to be hired for.

I shared my personal journey of finding my voice and being authentic in my personal and professional life. As a marketer and communications manager, I believe that personal branding can be fun, human, and entrepreneurial, rather than complicated, scary, or templated. Participants learned how to identify their unique perspective, network authentically, and craft their personal narrative.

This workshop was designed for those interested in personal branding or seeking inspiration to forge their own unique path. Through interactive presentations, activities, and group discussions, attendees learned from my experiences and from each other. By the end of the workshop, participants understood my approach to personal branding and had a personalized plan to authentically integrate their brand into their work and life.

I received great feedback from the workshop, with a satisfaction score of 4.7/5. Feedback included participants feeling deeply inspired, leaving with a different idea of how to view “work” and sense of self going forward.

“Other Ways Exist”

A talk I gave to various trainees and interns in Google, sharing how I thought about my traineeship and inspiring them to find creative ways to get to where they want to be. I shared my personal career journey and offered actionable tips and insights on maximizing traineeship opportunities. Participants found the session relatable, earnest, and impactful, leaving with a renewed mindset and practical strategies to make the most of their experience. The workshop was tailored to resonate with specific audiences, such as the SISG trainees and India Marketing apprentices, ensuring relevance and applicability.
